Major employment operators
In addition to the Points Paris Emploi (PPE), the City of Paris supports three major employment operators: the Mission locale de Paris,EPEC, which runs the Local Plan for Integration and Employment (PLIE), and theEcole de la 2e Chance (E2C) de Paris.
La Mission Locale de Paris
The Mission Locale de Paris is a public service organization dedicated to the social, professional and civic integration of young people aged 16 to 25.
Mission Locale de Paris welcomes, informs, guides and supports all young people aged 16 to 25 living in Paris who are no longer obliged to attend school, either directly or in collaboration with partners.
The Mission Locale's objective is to help young people build a path to social, professional and civic integration, and to support them throughout this process. To this end, it acts as an intermediary between young people and the relevant players in the social, vocational training and employment fields.

EPEC, leader of the Paris PLIE
A key player in employment in the Paris region, the association Ensemble Paris Emploi Compétences (EPEC) supports job seekers who are furthest removed from the demands of the job market, and assists companies in their recruitment efforts.
The Local Plan for Integration and Employment (PLIE) was created in 2005 on the initiative of the City of Paris and receives funding from the European Social Fund (ESF). Led since January 2016 by the association Ensemble Paris Emploi Compétences (EPEC), this scheme offers comprehensive, individualized and reinforced support for jobseekers living in the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th arrondissements. Priority is given to RSA recipients, long-term job seekers, single parents and disabled workers.
Each PLIE advisor accompanies 70 people, and works with them to co-construct a pathway to integration, based on the following stages: diagnosis, development of a professional project, remobilization, training leading to qualifications, placement in employment.
Second-chance school (E2C)
The École de la deuxième chance de Paris was set up in Paris in September 2006 to offer motivated young volunteers the chance to resume their training and enter a chosen profession.
Its mission is to help young Parisians aged 16 to 30, who have been out of school for at least a year without a diploma or qualification, to successfully integrate into society and society as a whole by building a realistic, long-term career plan.
Initiated by the City of Paris, the school brings together the French government, the Île-de-France region, the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Paris Chamber of Trades and Crafts, and a large number of private companies, all of which make a vital contribution to helping young people make the right career choices.
In addition to the three major employment operators supported by the City of Paris, other institutions are tasked with helping Parisians find work.

City Policy" call for projects
Through the "Politique de la Ville" call for projects, the City of Paris provides support for Parisians living in the "Quartiers Politique de la Ville" who are looking for work and experiencing difficulties with socio-professionnel integration. This call for projects supports initiatives that give priority to comprehensive care and networking. Implemented by structures that are well established in the area, some of these initiatives are designed to reach out to "invisible" groups.
In terms of employment, the aim is to support Parisians in their path to and within employment.
Depending on their needs and situation, they will be offered one of the following actions:
-
Remobilization for people who are far from employment, who face a number of obstacles and are therefore not yet ready to enter the job market.
-
Career repositioning for people wishing to define a new career plan or to deepen their professional project.
-
