Where can I find the timetables?

The opening times for each facility are posted on the "Swimming pool opening times" page and at the entrance to each pool.

Do schedules vary throughout the year?

From September to June, certain slots are reserved for schools (weekdays, during the day) and sports clubs and associations (weekday evenings).
During the short school vacations, and in July and August, opening times to the public change and are extended.

Which pools are open on public holidays?

Most pools are closed on the following public holidays: January1, May1, July 14, August 15 and December 25. They close at 5pm or 5:30pm the day before these days.
A few exceptions: Suzanne Berlioux (1st), Pontoise (5th), Roger Le Gall (12th), Joséphine Baker (13th), Keller (15th), Champerret (17th), Pailleron (19th), Hermant (19th) and Georges Vallerey (20th) remain open on certain public holidays.

Purchasing and prices

Buy your Paris swimming pool tickets online

The City of Paris has set up the "Billetterie Piscines de la Ville de Paris" website, enabling you to buy single tickets and 10-entry cards online, as well as renew your membership.
Tickets purchased online can be used at all Paris swimming pools, with the exception of Suzanne Berlioux, Espace Pailleron and Espace Sportif Pontoise.

What payment methods are available at swimming pools?

Only cash (for greater convenience, please bring change), bank cheques and credit cards are accepted.

Individual entrance

  • Single admission: €3.50 / €2 (concessions)
  • 10-ticket card: 28€ / 16€ (reduced rate): this card is valid for one year from date of issue. The 10-ticket card is issued without a receipt.
  • 3-month subscription: 43€ / 22€ (reduced rate). The quarterly pass is issued on site, on presentation of ID and photo.
Please note: a quarterly pass or 10-entry card purchased at one of the Paris pools is not valid at Suzanne Berlioux (1st), Pontoise (5th) or Pailleron (19th), as these pools have their own ticketing systems (which are not compatible with each other).

Swimming lessons, activities and certification

All year round, sessions supervised by City of Paris swimming instructors are offered in the pools, subject to registration. Prices vary according to the activity. The activity fee does not include the cost of entry to the facility.
Swimming lessons for 1 to 3 people: price per person
  • 1 lesson (30 minutes): €15
  • 6 lessons: €66
Swimming lesson for 4 to 16 people: €18 (for the group)
Aquatic activities (according to resort program) / per person
  • 1 session: €7
  • 10 sessions: €61
Swimming certificate (outside the scope of a lesson): €7
Rates and access conditions apply to all municipal pools.
Note: five pools have special rates (all year round, at night or in summer). These are Suzanne Berlioux (Paris Centre), Pontoise (5th), Roger le Gall (12th), Joséphine Baker (13th) and Pailleron (19th).

Reduced rates

Reduced rates apply to single tickets, 10-ticket passes and 3-month season tickets.
To benefit from the reduced rate at a municipal swimming pool, you must :
  • be domiciled in Paris,
  • go to the ticket office with proof of entitlement to the reduced rate,
  • and proof of address and identity.
List of reduced rates :
  • Young people under 26 living in Paris : on presentation of proof of identity and address. If you are staying in Paris, please provide proof of accommodation and proof of residence in Paris (e.g. electricity bill).
  • Large families : on presentation of SNCF discount card
  • Persons aged 65 and over : on presentation of proof of identity and proof of address. If you are staying in Paris, please provide proof of accommodation and proof of residence in Paris (electricity bill).
  • Peacekeeper trainees and peacekeepers required to undergo training: on presentation of professional card
  • Holders of a disability card issued by the Maison départementale des personnes handicapées (MDPH): on presentation of card
  • Persons accompanying children over 8: without using the pools themselves

Free admission: conditions and supporting documents

To qualify for free entry to a Paris swimming pool, you must first belong to one of the categories below. And you must :
  • be domiciled in Paris,
  • must go to the ticket office with proof of entitlement, proof of address and proof of identity:
  • Paris Family Pass holders: on presentation of the Pass
  • Holders of Navigo Pass Paris Seniors and Pass Paris Access' cards: on presentation of the card issued by the Centre d'action sociale de la Ville de Paris.
  • Guides d'aveugles et guides d'invalides de guerre: on presentation of the 100% pensioner's white card (limited to one companion per person).
  • Jobseekers living in Paris: on presentation of a paper or electronic notice of situation less than one month old.
  • Beneficiaries of the revenu de solidarité active (RSA) living in Paris : on presentation of a valid certificate.
  • Beneficiaries of the temporary waiting allowance (ATA): on presentation of notification of the decision.
  • Active and retired City of Paris employees: upon presentation of proof of employment.
  • Disability card holders: on presentation of proof of entitlement issued by the Office national des Anciens combattants et victimes de guerre (National Office for Veterans and Victims of War).
  • Military personnel mobilized as part of Operation Sentinel: on presentation of business card
  • Recipients of asylum seeker's allowance (ADA): on presentation of notification of decision

Special pricing

Special rates apply in certain establishments. This means that the price of entry tickets and subscriptions (10-entry cards, quarterly subscriptions, etc.) is not the same as in other pools.

Piscine Joséphine Baker (13th)

From weekends in mid-May to the end of September, and every day in July and August, the price is €6.50. The entry ticket is valid for 2 hours beyond that, and each additional hour will be charged and paid for on departure.
Outside these periods, a normal rate applies: €4 full price with no time limit.

Piscine Pontoise (5e)

Rates for evening events from 8:15pm: €11.10 (full rate) for access to the pool, fitness center and sauna. During the day, until 8pm, the rate is 4.80€ (full rate) for access to the pool only.

Roger Le Gall (12th)

Special summer rates (June to end August and weekends in September): €5.80 (full rate). Outside the summer period, admission is €3.50 (full price).

Pailleron (19th)

3.60€ (full price) all year round
Except 4.30€ July and August

Berlioux (Paris Centre)

4.80€ (full price) all year round
What should I do if my season ticket is lost or stolen?

In the event of loss or theft of your membership card, you must complete a request for a duplicate card (available on site), enclosing a passport photo. Then give these documents to the pool cashier, who will pass them on to the Régie. This concerns the non-paying part of the card.
Duplicates of the season ticket cannot be issued. However, you can show proof of identity at the pool ticket office, where staff will check your access rights.

School ponds

No drop in water or air temperature for school pools.
School pools are small pools designed for the very young. Access is reserved for school groups and clubs.
