All types of accommodation on LOC'annonces
Accessible from a computer, tablet or smartphone, the scheme offers all types of social and intermediate housing: PLAI, PLUS (rents between €6 and €12 per m²), and PLS , PLI (over €12 per m²) as well as housing for young workers.
Applicants can then position themselves on housing that matches their profile, and is adapted to their situation in terms of family composition and resources.
In addition to the housing posted by the City of Paris (contingent of the Mayor of Paris or the mayors of the arrondissements), our partner landlords, who manage and reserve social and intermediary housing, also publish ads for apartments for rent, thus increasing the supply of housing on LOC'annonces.
In fact, landlords who contribute to the construction of social housing, such as the City of Paris, the French State, or Action Logement, gain the right to nominate candidates for a portion of the housing they own.

The three steps to applying for a home
To apply for social housing via the LOC'annonces site, check the eligibility conditions and follow all the steps described below.
Step 1 - Applying for social housing in Île-de-France
If you do not have a valid housing application, you can carry out all your formalities online on the government website: demande-logement-social.gouv.fr and find out more about the formalities to be carried out on Paris.fr :
You can also make an appointment to visit one of the 17 Points d'Accueil Logement in Paris.
Housing Advice Points are open by appointment only.
You can book an appointment online, and a housing advisor will then meet you at the borough hall of your choice, on the day and at the time that suits you best, to advise you, examine and register your application.

Step 2 - Check conditions
The number of people in your household must correspond to the surface area and number of rooms in your home.
Your income (wages and other income) must be sufficient to pay the rent. They must be three times higher than the rent (including charges).
Your income must be below the ceiling set by annual decree.
Remember to update your file regularly: only complete and justified applications will be examined.

Step 3 - Apply online for the home of your choice right up to the application deadline
The City of Paris and its partner landlords regularly post available accommodation on LOC'annonces, for an average period of 9 days.
You can cancel your application right up to the publication deadline. If you find a suitable ad that matches your profile, log in directly from the desired ad. You will then be able to apply.
In the case of housing advertisements published by partner social landlords, the entire process of selecting candidates and allocating housing is handled by the social landlord, without the City intervening at any stage in the procedure.
The procedures for selecting applicants and allocating social housing are the result of automated processing and appraisal of applications, taking into account the household's resources (based on a means-testing ceiling), the suitability of the family's composition for the type of housing required, and the Paris rating for Parisian housing.
The time of the week when you apply and the number of applications for a property do not influence the selection of your file.
At this stage, it's vital that your file is up to date and complete, with valid contact details (e-mail address, postal address).
Exchanging your social housing
Prompted by the City of Paris, Aorif and 12 metropolitan landlords have launched the first social housing exchange platform in Paris. Tenants can exchange their accommodation if they want a smaller, larger or more affordable one. In 2019, the exchange will be rolled out across the Île-de-France region.
In Île-de-France, nearly one in three social housing requests comes from households already living in social housing. To address this need for mobility, stakeholders in the Île-de-France social housing sector have created an innovative solution: the Échanger Habiter platform. This exchange platform provides direct access to new housing offers. By registering on the site, you can actively participate in your own residential development.
