FAQ Pass Paris Seniors or Access'

Below taxable income, it says IMPÔT SUR LES REVENUES SUBMIS AU BARÈME (14).

No, the tax authorities apply a family quotient that takes into account the number of units declared for tax calculation purposes. This means that couples are not at a disadvantage compared with single people.

In the event of loss or theft, the Navigo Pass can be replaced directly at RATP and SNCF sales offices , for the sum of €15, in the same way as any other Navigo Pass.

As the Pass number remains the same, the rights of the Pass Paris Seniors or Access' are kept the same. You will need to recharge the rights on the new card at a Navigo terminal.

These conditions are explained below, by downloading the General conditions of use for both passes.

Various problems can be identified:

- Check that you are in possession of a "month-week" navigo card, not an annual one (identified by a lower-case "a" written on it).
- Check with your RATP or SNCF branch that your card is still valid. Navigo passes are valid for 10 years.
- Check that you have loaded your previous Access Passes entitlements before loading your new entitlements. If not, the loading of your new rights will be blocked.

As soon as we receive your application, your local Espace Parisien des Solidarités (formerly CASVP) will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail and post. This acknowledgement includes your CASVP login so you can follow the progress of your application on the aides-casvp.paris.fr page.

Before logging in with your username and date of birth. You must first log in to your MonParis account (also called guichet des parisiens) or create one with your personal e-mail address (see login procedure below).

If you don't have a personal e-mail address, don't panic. Your Espace Parisien des Solidarités will contact you by mail about missing documents and responses to your requests.

The City of Paris already helps the elderly to a far greater extent than the other departments of the Ile-de-France region, which only provide transport for those who are not taxed. At present, there are no municipal schemes in place to help beyond this amount.

However, you may be able to benefit from the Forfait Navigo Annuel Tarification Senior from Île-de-France Mobilités, which can only be purchased at Comptoirs-Club RATP or RATP and SNCF sales agencies . Open to people aged 62 or over and subject to certain conditions, it allows you to travel at a preferential rate on zones 1 to 5 of the Ile-de-France network, and to benefit from the cultural advantages of the Navigo.
