The Gâtinais region has seen its fair share of artists from all eras. And there are plenty of artists' houses to visit on this cycling tour, so take your time and meet Théodore Rousseau, Jean-François Millet or Jean Cocteau.
The icing on the cake is the beautiful Château de Courance (91) and Le Cyclop, a sculptural work by Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle and friends, which rose from the ground in 1969.
