Through forests, across fields, through villages, and past castles – these 5 hikes, each with varying levels of difficulty, are sure to delight everyone!

Towards Maffliers, to reconnect with the forest

The communes of Maffliers, Nerville-la-Forêt and Montsoult border the L'Isle-Adam forest (95). On this hike, you can admire the beautiful vegetation and explore the surrounding villages.
Along the way, you'll pass a number of remarkable buildings. The Notre-Dame-des-Champs church in Maffliers, for example, boasts a wooden statue dating back to the 14th century and a bell tower dating back to 1574: a must-see!
It's also an opportunity to discover the Delphinière manor house next to the church, known as the home of Madame de Staël for several years.

Towards Presles, for a plunge into history

In addition to the beauty of its village, Presles (95) is fortunate to be located right next to several archaeological sights. On this hike, you'll be able to contemplate the dolmens on the edge of the commune. But first, we'll start with the Pierre Plate, the most impressive of the surrounding Neolithic sites.
Don't miss the Blanc-Val dolmen nearby, an equally unforgettable listed monument.

What can you do in Beaumont-sur-Oise (95)? In no particular order: explore one of the Oise Valley's most significant castles, visit a cinema beloved by Eddy Mitchell (and featured in the film La Cité de la peur), stroll through a stunning forest, and admire a Gothic church.
This charming little town is brimming with unexpected treasures waiting to be discovered. And don't forget the Oise River, a refreshing source of water that adds a unique charm to the area.

To Nointel-Mours, for a farmhouse tasting

The village loop from Nointel to Mours (95) is packed with exceptional heritage sites. Why not stop off at Château de Nointel, a sumptuous building erected in 1680?
The mood changes a little further on, when the hiking trail takes us to the Nointel farm. Here, you can meet the Teillier family, who have owned the estate since 1926. And why not indulge in one of the many products on sale: beef and poultry, apple juice, honey and other beehive issued products, such as mead.
